With the FLACS RT C series laser cutting system, we offer a state-of-the-art system that combines all the essential components for safe and efficient laser processing in one unit with an exceptional design. It is specially optimized for laser cutting applications. Our similarly constructed FLACS RT P series is suitable for perforation applications, such as vacuum lamination.

The robust, sheet steel protective cabin ensures comprehensive protection against laser beams and complies with laser class 1 outside the cabin. An access door with a window is located on the side, allowing quick access to all important components for maintenance work.

Protective cabin

The visually appealing protective cabin is made of sheet steel and offers all-round protection from the laser beams. On the outside, the cabin is classified as laser Class 1. There is an access door with a window on the side.

FLACS RT C series loading area

One of the most important system areas – the interface to the operator – is the loading area. The FLACS RT C-Series laser cutting system was designed with ergonomics in mind, including, swing doors for fixture changes, foot clearance, and a light barrier activation indicator, but also to small details such as an air nozzle for fixture cleaning.

High-speed turntable

Another important key to short cycle times is the part changeover time. With our patented turntable changeover times from 2 seconds can be achieved.

Pivoting control panel

The FLACS control panel provides an additional interface for the operator. All system functions and status displays can be easily and clearly controlled. The pivoting control panel allows changing the operating mode from manual to automatic. Individual manual functions can be also be executed directly. The current flow rate of the cooling unit is also displayed.

Compact design Laser protective cabin

The FLACS RT C series laser cutting system stands out for its very compact design and the integration of all components required for your parts production. The system floor consists of two levels, with all supply lines installed on the bottom level. This design ensures good accessibility for service work. The top level is designed as a flat surface, eliminating any distracting steps. The cabin roof can be removed quickly and easily to dismantle heavy components.

ROBOCUT laser robot

Our in-house ROBOCUT A100 or A1000 laser robot is used in the FLACS RT C series laser cutting system. Based on the requirements, it can be equipped with an integrated CO₂ laser (100–1000 W), a CO₂ laser with an external beam arm (up to 2 kW), or a fiber laser (up to 2 kW). Depending on the required cycle time, the system is configured with one or two robots.

Electrical systems and accessories

Fewer components - fewer interference sources. The system is controlled by an integrated control cabinet with a Siemens IPC controller, which controls both the robot movement and all peripheral components. System safety is ensured by a programmable safety PLC.

The central connection point for the system is the integrated media connection box. This contains the power connection and the air connection, which leads directly to a special air filter and air dryer. The treated air serves as the process gas.

Filter and cooling unit

The filter consists of a cartridge filter stage, which can be supplemented with an easy-to-replace waste disposal system and a dusting system for the coating material. The cleaning cycle is initiated automatically by a differential pressure measurement.

The cooling unit ensures efficient cooling of the laser and the control cabinet.

Base frame System transport

Using a common base plate allows for shorter commissioning times. The base frame was optimized so that it achieves a reasonable transport dimension and system weight. The supply lines are laid in a false floor.

For easy and quick transport of the entire system, eye hooks and drop points have been integrated into the cell.
