LASER CUTTING

With laser cutting, a wide range of different materials can be
processed. This means that materials such as plastic or metal
can be cut. Different lasers, such as CO2 lasers or fibre lasers
are used for this. The lasers differ in the wavelengths and are
thus suitable for different materials. Lasers are principally a
very highly concentrated light source. Due to the strong focus,
the light source applies high surface energy to the material
which thus evaporates it. This creates the kerf.

ROBOCUT laser robots, for example, are used for laser cutting.
There are also full cutting cells, such as a laser cutting system
FLACS RT series, which includes all necessary components for
processing components.
